Tuesday was not only St. Patrick’s Day, but it was our 1st anniversary so we had lots of reasons to celebrate.
Our great friends Monica and Chris were here. These two were our first customers on the day the store opened, and we couldn’t have celebrated our first anniversary without them.
The store was full of green balloons. Everyone who shopped that day got to pop a balloon for a secret discount. There was alot of popping going on!
There were beautiful flowers-
And tasty treats- (green ranch for dipping and funfetti cookies- yum!)
Buz played the guitar for us.
And at the end of the evening, we held a raffle for two huge baskets full of supplies.
We were thrilled when we drew Amy’s name for one basket, and twice as thrilled when we found out Lily and Gigi had won the other basket to share!
Here are Lily and Gigi with Mary. They are two of our sweetest scrapbookers.
An anniversary is a time to reflect on all of the wonderful things that have happened to us in the past year, and to anticipate all of the great things another year will bring.
It is also a time to express our gratitude. We want to thank all of our vendors and product reps for all of their help. (With a special thanks to Cheryl, a thoughtful Fiskateer who dropped off some wonderful gifts for our croppers. Thank you Cheryl!)
We also want to thank all of the teachers who have shared their talents and inspired us with their projects.
We couldn’t have done any of this without the support of our families and friends, and most importantly, our customers – both old and new. Thank you for allowing us to earn your business. We look forward to helping you with your scrapbooks and projects every day. Thank you for the wonderful year!
